As luck would have it, 2 weeks in a row, I will address another skill that we learn very early on in our development. The telling of time and the concept of TIME!!!!!!!

We are constantly reminded that it’s time to eat, time to go, and many other times of our days. So it is with hope that one will always know what time it is and when it IS indeed the right time, that I will take up the subject of watches.

As consumers, we are constantly barraged with advertising and spokespeople for brands that we might aspire to own and maybe even want to own at a future date for utility reasons or for fashionable reasons. As usual, I would like to offer up a few suggestions which will fall into mostly fashionable or aspirational categories. The range of retail prices will be from about $30 to about $150,000. Take your pick and choose your look for day or evening. As of the newest issue of “W” one of the many fashion bibles, they are pushing you to own a Red Watch. In particular a red evening watch and in the current issue of BAZAAR, it is a diamond watch which, of course is in the 5 to 6 figure range. If you are so inclined to do so but cannot swing $15,000 and up, then by all means do your homework online and achieve the same look for a fraction of the price. Now is the ideal time to search for that “diamond” watch of your dreams or surprise a friend with one.

I would like to thank The Watchery.com, QVC, HSN, Bulgari, Harry Winston,Chaumet, Bedat.
P.S.———- It is never fashionable to be late !!!!!!

Sexy Steel Couture

“Steel Couture is what happens when rigid metals are manipulated to create soft and feminine shapes.”

Every girl loves jewelry—especially draping gold necklaces, dangling mixed-media earrings, and chain belts. Steel Couture brings together unique design and a fresh perspective on the traditional.

For over ten years jewelry designer Lisa Fortin has been designing jewelry for the crème de la crème of New York City. From costume designing to knitting, Lisa is constantly exploring different forms of design. Her pieces have been featured in Daily Candy, Lucky, and Nylon. Her and her husband recently expanded the Steel Couture brand in Brooklyn, New York to include belts, watches, and an entire men’s collection.

We adore The Lariat necklace—a braided mix of leather, metal, rubber, lace, gauze, silk and chain. It totally screams sexy cowgirl … yee haw!
