Celebrity Style – Sandra Bullock

While I was sleeping, Sandra Bullock somehow transformed her usual dull look into a hip casual jet-setter. Sandra is typically seen as a t-shirt and jeans celebrity, but this past week she was spotted looking rather preppy with her metallic silver ballet flats and her ankle length leggings.

This is a cleaner more defined Sandra than I’ve usually seen. What makes this ensemble so great is the juxtaposition of the tight form-fitting leggings and the loose tank. The loose layered tanks allow for comfort while the leggings hug her body’s shape showing off her silhouette making the perfect mixture.

Adding a few accessories like a mid-chest length gold pendant necklace and some aviators and you’ve got one quick and ready day outfit.

Celebrity Style – Ashley Olsen and Reese Witherspoon

Yes, we all want comfort while running errands, but sometimes yoga pants and sweats just don’t cut it. In the midst of warmer weather, Ashley Olsen and Reese Witherspoon show how they avoid frumpy style faux paus and stay relaxed in summer weather. Both being fashion style icons, Ashley brings the boyfriend look back, while Reese showcases a basic mod style with accented hardware.

The button down safari shirt is the key piece in pulling Ashley’s boyfriend style together and her tattered denim cut-offs add a feminine touch. Her mule heels add some length and height, but if you’re not one to stomach heels all-day we recommended going with the gladiator sandal trend. (Personally, I’d go with flats for all-day wear.)

On the other hand, Reese brightens up the day with an electric dark blue mod dress, peep toe ballet flats, and a black belt with gold

hardware. The bright colored dress and belt is what makes this day outfit so easy and relaxing. The bright color exudes summer and the strategically placed belt cinches the waist for a defined waist and form, but still the comfort of loose clothing.

Both outfits are easy to put together and can be worn all day. Just pick which look best fits your personality and get shopping.

Celebrity Style – Business Fashion

Lets face it, business is business. Sometimes the daily grind of going to work can take a toll on you, and sometimes that means your wardrobe too. Like any job, your business dress code doesn’t have to own you, you can make it your own and show off your personality while staying within the guidelines.  Business fashion doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice personal style for the workplace. Adding a slightly tailored blazer, a charm necklace, or some sexy shoes can put a twist on the common office business wear.

Even in show business, celebrities like Kate Moss and Jennifer Aniston manage to throw on some business fashion-wear but still maintain their own personal trademark looks. Jennifer Aniston is commonly known as America’s Sweetheart and the girl-next-door. She puts on a classic business look with a belted grey pencil skirt, but spices it up with a lean collared sleeveless button-down shirt. Making the look contemporary, Jennifer adds a pair of modern pumps.

If you are a bit edgier, Kate Moss keeps it office-friendly with the infamous Audrey Hepburn black skinny pants, black tailored blazer, loose tank, and flat cowboy boots. Her outfit is still work-wearable, yet with a hint of punk rock with her boots and dazzling charm necklace. Her blazer is a key element in business fashion, as it covers the shoulders, and can be taken-off at night for a less formal look.

For a classier and more formal business attire, Scarlett Johansson models a satin blouse with a high waisted pencil skirt to highlight her torso. The color of the blouse adds some

brightness while the fabric sheen offers luminescence as opposed to a boring mat poly-cotton blend. Spicing up the look, her footwear does just the trick. Faux snakeskin and python print heels throw in a sexy design element to make this business fashion look far from ordinary, while still uber-chic.

Lastly, if casual, fun and flirty, is your style then you will want to try some silk frocks in bright spring and summer colors. Stephanie Pratt happily sports her mint julep dress, that compliments her shoulders with the horizontal chest lines and her hips with the cinched waist. Emphasizing simple lines her T-bar tan stilettos pair nicely with her bubbly business fashion.

Although you must adhere to dress code and guidelines don’t let that discourage your inner fashion stylist. Get inspried from casual looks and try to see how you can incorporate current trends into your professional environment. Even other celebs like Kim Kardashian and Miranda Kerr have sported some of the same office-looks earlier this season making them wearable for other occasions. Fashionable business wear doesn’t have to be boring. Let your business fashion be professional yet show who you are.
