Most fashion lovers know the common trend of “florals for spring”, but why not florals for winter too? Another twist to a winter wardrobe is pairing floral patterns with basic dark pieces such as a boyfriend blazer, cardigan, black jeans or leggings. The contrast is just the touch to not get overly feminine and the bright colors get toned down by the other dark hues. Kirsten Dunst does winter florals right with a dark pinstriped blazer, grey scarf, black tights, black booties, and just a simple skirt for her pop of spring color.
Take any floral print skirt or dress, add some winter layers and you are set for the weather.

As soon as New York Fashion Week ended last week, London Fashion Week started it’s festivities and shows. In the midst of great parades such as Burberry and Stella McCartney flaunting their Spring 2010 collections with bright colors and palettes, we are seeing the great and fabulous 2009 fall trends being showcased by celebrities attending the events.
Liv Tyler exudes several of this season’s must have trendy items. As reported in our 2009 fall trend must-haves last week, Liv sports a fitted boyfriend jacket, with sheer black leggings. These two fall fashion items are very basic, but Liv pairs them with some edgy platform sandals and unique bangles to make it appropriate for a fashion night out.
