With the holiday season upon us we all have to run errands, so why not be comfortable and coolishly fashionable at the same time? Over this past Thanksgiving Ashlee Simpson-Wentz showed us how to sport a casual rock look while being fashionable and functional at her trip to Whole Foods. Her all black ensemble is a great basic, yet a completely easy outfit to throw together. Her cowl neck sweater and a pair of black skinny jeans looks chic while being minimal. The key to her rocker-esque look is her pair of Nine West Maeble boots. The motorcycle bootie design and metal zipper hardware make this outfit stand out above the crowd making you ready to tackle your holiday “to-do” list in style.

As you may know one of the trendy fashion accessories this summer is the headband. Ashlee Simpson Wentz rocks a black braided double headband this past weekend at the 20th Annual A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival where she added the fab accessory to some great essentials. This headband can be paired with any basic outfit to dress up your look. Ashlee’s sleeveless open cardigan worked as an additional chic piece complimented by her black slouchy boots.
We love the double headband as it adds some Grecian elegance but also acts as keeping your hair in-line throughout the day. Ashlee isn’t the only celeb rocking head gear. Many celebs have been sporting headbands this past season. From Whitney Port, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Taylor Swift the skinny headband is definitely a must-have item.
