For over 20 years I have been actively singing the praises of animal prints, in particular leopard or cheetah as it may be known. I was first aware of its power when I was a buyer and soon found out that there is no season for it , other than it has tremendous commercial appeal at any level of retail and within almost any category you can think of. From bras to blankets and shoes to gloves, the appeal is almost universal.

In a time when we are all so aware of value and not spending our hard earned dollars in a foolish way, you will always make the right choice when you select leopard prints. This print is eternal as fashion itself. The beauty of it is simply that whether you shop at KOHLS, NIEMAN MARCUS or your local discount store , whatever your purchase you are guaranteed that it has staying power in the style department of your wardrobe. The trick of the purchase is to be aware that even though the pattern is season less, the fabrication may dictate when its wearabilty may be. Obviously, anything “furry”, whether it be hair calf or fleece is not suitable for Spring/Summer.

Leopard is most string when used as an accent or if you dare to wear it as the main pattern of your dress, leggings or blouse. I find it most used with black, most fashionably with red and most chic when worn with gray. Do not let the pattern scare you. It is difficult to make a mistake if you use the pattern sparingly.

I spent some time at the computer and came up with a wide selection of items, with a wide selection of price points, that will certainly get you thinking.
