Celebrity Style – Rachel Bilson in France

While many fashion bloggers are talking about the MTV Awards fashion dos and donts, I wanted to focus a bit more on some practical fashion for this week as the weather has been quite out of the ordinary for a few states. In Los Angeles and New York, weather has been a bit gloomy and colder than usual which is why I thought Rachel Bilson‘s layered look at the French Open was so appropriate. With the un-predictable weather, layering is always the best option for versatility and comfort.

Rachel’s French Open fashion gives us plenty to work with. Basics such as a black blazer and opaque tights are added when the weather is a bit chilly, but still light enough for summer. I adore her tan voluminous skirt, because it not only adds curves or flatters them, it also has some very handy and sometimes necessary pockets. This skirt can be used for the office, a dinner party, or even running day to day errands if paired with some casual flats and tank. Even more so this type of skirt is awesome to dress up which is why we added a nice sleeveless tuxedo button up shirt for elegance that can be used into the evening.
